At Pretty Savage Things, we want to give our customers the most enjoyable shopping experience. That’s why we believe that our store policies should be clear and transparent. Below you’ll find a list of our policies. If you can’t find the information you’re looking for or have any questions - please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to assist you!


By placing an order you are fully agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and if placing an order for pepper spray or stun guns, you are swearing to the fact that you are 18 years or older at the time of your purchase. 


WE want you to GET THE ITEMS YOU WANT so please remember that a product is not yours until you have actually completed your purchase. The products that you place in your cart can be lost to another customer and a sale is not final until your payment is actually processed. Carts do not hold products off the site and you are not able to use the cart to take products out of stock. Paying for and completing your purchase through your cart online is the only way to get them. After your payment is processed, you will receive an email confirming your order. 


Once an order is paid via checkout from your cart, your order is final and we do not offer refunds. If you want to exchange your order for another product, we will do our best to accommodate you if you notify us prior to us packaging your order for shipping but we make no promise or guarantee that we will be able to exchange your purchase for another product as our inventory is limited and many products are one of a kind or may be out of stock at any given time. In no case do we refund, if you want to cancel or exchange an order after payment but before it has been prepared for shipping, we will issue you a store credit for the amount of your purchase price that is not applied to your final order. Store credit is valid for 1 year. 


You are responsible for knowing if the items you have purchased are legal and allowed in your state prior to making a purchase. If we find that an item within your order is not legally allowed to be sold in your state, we will not ship that item to you but will send the remainder of the items on your keychain/order. No refunds will be given for any items purchased by you but not legally allowed to be shipped by us due to the regulations in your state, you are responsible for knowing your local laws. If an item on your order or part on your keychain is not legal to ship to your state and we don’t offer a legal alternative item to ship with your keychain, you will be issued a store credit for the item purchased that is not allowed in your state and the remainder of the items in your order and/or on your keychain will be shipped to you. Whenever possible, if you’ve placed an order with a hand defense tool that is not legal in your state, we will swap out the illegal hand tool and substitute it for a legal hand tool of our choosing. By purchasing a product, you are representing that you are fully aware of and accept our terms and conditions, understand and will fully comply with your local laws and regulations. 

We can not ship pepper spray to Alaska, Hawaii, Massachusetts or New York. We do not ship stun guns to Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island or Wisconsin. Any orders placed that include these items in these states will be processed, the illegal items removed from the order and the rest of the legal items will be shipped according to this policy. 


While our self defense products are an excellent tool for you to utilize to assist you in protecting yourself, we make no claims as to the effectiveness of any product. We make no warranty, express or implied that a product will perform in any way. You agree to accept the full responsibility including but not limited to the legal, mental, emotional, physical and financial personal responsibility for the use, safety and effectiveness of any product you purchase from us.

If within the first 30 days from the date of your purchase, you find that an item within your purchase is defective, please email us with a photo or video of and description of the issue and we will inform you whether we require you to return the defective item to us. If we determine that an item is actually defective, we will do one of the following: 1. replace just that defective item with a same or similar in stock item or 2. issue a refund for the portion of the purchase price that corresponds to just that item. We retain the sole right to determine which method we will perform in addressing a defective item claim. In no case will a defective item be considered to render the entire keychain/purchase defective and any remedy extended will be applied to just the defective item. If a defective item claim is approved and an item is being replaced or substituted, we will pay the cost of shipping that replacement item to you.
